concatenation operator (&)

by admin on March 12th, 2017
put "Hello " & card field "User Name" & "," into card field "Greeting"

The & operator can be used to concatenate one or more values into a longer one. In the above example, if the field “User Name” contained “Eric Carlson”, the field “Greeting” would contain the text “Hello Eric Carlson,”. As you can see, things are concatenated immediately to each other, which is why, to get a space between the “Hello” and the name, we explicitly type a space before the closing quote character.
